Spring Festival

It is a most solemn festival in Korea. In South Korea, people will worship their ancestors within New Year's morning, which means the start of the year. People will certainly eat rice cakes that day. Families and relatives will get together to play games.
Dragon boat festival
Time: Lunar May 5
Dragon Boat Festival is the day to pray for a good harvest after grain transplanting. Women will wash their hairs with acorus calamus as the shampoo, play on a swing. People will also cook the wheel-like cake to eat. It also uses the name of this food to name the actual festival.
Mid-Autumn Festival
Time: Tacha August 15
Mid-Autumn Event is the second largest event which is only second in order to South Korea's biggest Springtime Festivals. People will worship their ancestors in Chuseok, and then visit the grave. Additionally, it uses grain, chestnut, etc . to make muffin. There are also many games to play with family.
